Artist Statement

For over 20 years Bill West has been working as a self employed rustic furniture maker, carpenter & general contractor. He lives with his family  in the Adirondack Mountains, in a home he built himself on 8 1/2 acres of land.  He builds dream Adirondack camps and log homes in the   Park. Through his love for finish work, Bill discovered the art of making furniture. Pictures of Bill's Rustic Furniture go beyond word with their beauty, craftsmanship, and Adirondack Charm.

Only the best material is used, and poplar is mainly used for structural integrity. All wood is hand selected and thoroughly dried to prevent warping and cracking of the piece.
 
Bill strives not only to build a nice looking piece of rustic heritage but a heirloom to pass on to generations to come that is functional as well as a piece of the Adirondacks.
