Artist Statement

Rachel Krause is an multi-media artist from New York whose roots began with oil painting. Her art concerns itself with how memory can be reveal itself through an instinctual approach to the canvas. She has a BFA from Suny Purchase School of Art and Design and is currently working on her Masters degree in Art Education. She has exhibited in 1000000mpg gallery in London, World culture gallery in NYC, Dolly Moss gallery among others.
