About The Blind Artist's Society
The Blind Artists Society is a project of the Retina Research Foundation, Inc.  a 501 (c)(3) public Charity, formed in 2004 to find cures for blindness. Our foundation is located in New York's Capital District.

The stated mission of the foundation is:

- Fund research at a dedicated research facility: The Retina Research Center
- Promote and support patient advocacy in ophthalmology
- Support and fund international educational activities and continuing medical education seminars

In addition to the Blind Artists Society web portal, our other major patient advocacy program is the charitable Eye Mission in Belize.
