Artist Statement
Petros Roucoutakis was born in 1953 in Chania Crete (Greece).
He started studies in painting.He continued in the Academy of Arts of Rome 1974-1977 with teacher Franco Gentili.When he was twenty eight he became blind and since then he consecrate himself to sculpture.For his sculpture and for his instructive work in art he has been awarded by the Academy of Greece in 1994.
